How long have you been parishioners at St. Paul? What do you enjoy most about this parish, and what improvements would you like to see?
Becca grew up in St. Paul and went to school here K through 8. Spencer lived in South OP during our courtship, and we were married at St. Michael the Archangel, then moved up North and attended mass at St. Agnes. We spent a couple of years in Virginia before moving back to settle in Lenexa in 2021. We officially joined the parish shortly after moving back.
Are you currently involved in any ministry at St. Paul?
We attend Mass each Sunday and are members of the Aquila and Pricilla group for young married couples and families. We also attended the marriage night held recently. We send our daughter to St. Paul preschool and she will attend Kindergarten in the Fall of 2026.
Kindly include any ‘words of wisdom’ and a favorite bible verse or quote, if you choose to include this info. It would help the engaged couple be able to relate to you and know what is important to you as a couple in your marriage.
I’m not sure we have one verse or quote we live by, but we would summarize our love as a love of charity and seeking to hold the other in our hearts and minds in everything that we do. We choose each other and our relationship over all other things or pursuits. Always tell the truth, truth serves love. Communicate, and choose to grow together.
