Debora was born in Moberly, Missouri, remained in that community until she moved away for college. She has been Catholic her whole life and is the 4th of 5 children.
Adam was also born in Moberly, Missouri. His family moved a couple of times between Moberly and Springfield, Missouri. He has one brother. He was also raised in a practicing Catholic home.
How did you meet? High school; however, not “sweethearts.” They started dating after senior prom. They dated long distance for 4 years while attending college at MU of S & T (Rolla, MO) and MSU (Springfield, MO).
First marriage for husband? (Yes/ No): Yes
First marriage for wife? (Yes/ No): Yes
Husband’s occupation: Mechanic Engineer for Kiewit since 2002.
Wife’s occupation: Speech-Language Pathologist for the Olathe Public Schools after staying home with their children for 11 years.
What are your favorite leisure activities/ hobbies?
Husband: Running, boating, home improvement projects
Wife: Walking, Yoga, reading, spending time with family and friends.
How long have you been parishioners at St. Paul? What do you enjoy most about this parish, and what improvements would you like to see?
Adam and Debora have belonged to St. Paul for 11 years. They like the people they have met and the leadership of St. Paul’s parish priests. They are looking forward to getting to know more people as the community grows.
Are you currently involved in any ministry at St. Paul?
Husband: Eucharistic Minister, Knights of Columbus
Wife: None at this time. She helped with the Sunday morning religious education classes for a few years.
