This month, you’re invited to prepare for the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with a daily email series inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’: On Care for Our Common Home.

Starting Thursday, September 11, you’ll receive a short reflection each day that includes:

  • A brief excerpt from Laudato Si’

  • A question for prayer and reflection

  • A resource or simple practice to put the theme into action

Over two weeks, we’ll walk through key themes such as creation as God’s gift, our responsibility to the poor, climate change, the call to simplicity, and the role of the Eucharist in renewing all creation.

Following these reflections, we’ll pray a 9-day novena to St. Francis, the Church’s patron of ecology, leading into his feast day on Sunday, October 4.

Why join?

  • Reflect on Laudato Si’ in a short, simple, and accessible way.

  • Enter St. Francis’ feast with a deeper sense of gratitude and care for God’s creation.

  • Open the door to future opportunities for deeper engagement, whether through parish activities, small groups, or practical projects that build on the themes of this series.

This series is an opportunity to grow in prayer and awareness, and to take steps toward living our faith with greater care for our common home alongside your fellow St. Paul parishioners.
