CARE GIVING MINISTRIES
FUNERAL DINNERS - Prepare food and help serve a meal as needed to families and loved ones following a funeral Mass.
HOMEBOUND MINISTRY - Join fellow parishioners who bring the Eucharist to the homes of those who are unable to attend Mass.
HOSPITAL MINISTRY - Extraordinary Ministers who visit the hospital and offer the Eucharist to Catholic patients.
JAIL MINISTRY - This select group of parishioners attends a local jail to visit and share the Word of God.
PRAYER CHAIN - Pray with others for the intentions provided to the group by members of our community.
ST. MARY'S FOOD KITCHEN - Prepare a casserole, serve at the Food Kitchen, or make a financial donation to cover expenses.
ADORATION CHAPEL - Participate and commit yourself to this beautiful and prayerful devotion by signing-up for a holy hour.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY - Meet each Wednesday evening to participate in various studies and grow in the Catholic faith.
BAPTISM PREPARATION - Baptism Preparation is offered to all parents and godparents prior to the celebration of Baptism.
CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD - Help children ages 3-12 to fall in love with God through hands on materials in a sacred space.
MEN'S PRAYER GROUP - The study reflects on the Scriptures for the week in preparation for Mass each Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m
RCIA/RICA - Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults requests sponsors to share their joy of our Catholic faith with those discerning becoming Catholic.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - Join a team of catechists and office aides to assist teaching the Catholic faith to the children and youth of the parish.
SAN ANDRÉS GROUP - This Spanish Bible Study group meets Wednesday evening for faith formation and prayer.
TOTUS TUUS - Our St. Paul summer youth program is always in need of volunteers to help organize and assist with activities.
VOCATION CLUB - This St. Paul Catholic School club meets with students who want to further the depth of their knowledge of the Catholic faith.
FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
CATHOLIC YOUTH ORGANIZATION (CYO) - CYO offers youth the opportunity to grow in virtue through sports, recreation and other activities.
HOSPITALITY TEAM - Connects with new members of the parish through welcoming events and community outreach.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS - We support parish, school and other ministries while becoming better Catholics, husbands and community leaders.
MOMS OF ST. PAUL - Parish moms with children ages birth-12 yrs and expecting mothers meet for play dates, formation events and speakers.
PIECE TIME QUILTERS - Gather with friends and family to create one-of-a-kind quilts for the community.
WOMEN OF ST. PAUL - A organized women’s group whose achievements make a definitive difference in the life of Saint Paul Parish.
YOUTH MINISTRY - Volunteers assist with programs for teens in 6-12th grade by filling the various needs of the program.
DEAF MINISTRY - Requirements include knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf culture (or a willingness to learn), and love for God!
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTER - A person confirmed in the Catholic Church with a desire to assist in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass.
GREETER - A smile or a handshake is all that is needed as the first contact parishioners and visitors receive as they enter St. Paul Church.
LECTOR - Participate in the Mass by reading the Word of God to those in attendance.
MUSIC MINISTRY - Vocalists and musicians wanted who can play piano, organ, guitar, violin, flute, trumpets, and percussion.
SACRISTAN - A behind the scenes person, assisting by having all items ready for Mass including the bread, wine, books and sacred vessels.
SERVER - Students in grades 6-12 will fully assist the priest during celebrations of the Mass.
USHER - Help to make each person feel welcome by opening doors, finding seating, monitoring the room temperature and collection of the gifts.
